What Happens When I Receive My New Bike?

How will my bike arrive if I buy online?

When you order your Sila bike directly through our online store, it will arrive at your doorstep carefully packed in a box, partially pre-assembled. This makes shipping safer and ensures your bike reaches you in pristine condition.


What does “pre-assembled” mean?

We pre-assemble all the critical parts at the factory — the frame, fork, and key components are installed and adjusted by our experts. To fit the bike safely into a shipping box, a few parts (like the front wheel, pedals, and handlebars) will need to be attached at home.

Don’t worry — it’s straightforward and designed so that anyone with basic tools can finish the assembly in under an hour.


Will I get help with assembly?

Absolutely. Every bike box includes a step-by-step assembly guide, complete with clear photos and instructions.

In addition:

  • Our Sila team is just a message or call away if you have any questions while assembling your bike.
  • We can also connect you with video tutorials or a live video call with our support team if you’d like extra guidance.

What if I’m not comfortable assembling it myself?

If you’d rather not do it yourself, we recommend bringing the boxed bike to your local bike shop. Any qualified bike mechanic can easily complete the final setup and safety check for you.


When can I ride my new bike?

Once you’ve completed the final assembly and double-checked everything (following the guide), you’re ready to roll. Be sure to:

Inflate your tires to the recommended pressure,

Check all bolts and quick releases,

Adjust your saddle and handlebars to your comfort.

Then, enjoy your first ride on your new Sila bike!
